The 10km Family & Beginner Ride

This 10km ride is perfect for families and those just beginning their journey into recreational cycling. Guided by the Tasmanian Bicycle Users Group (TBUG), it’s designed to be safe, social, and enjoyable for all ages and abilities.

Group of six people, including children and adults, riding bicycles on a gravel trail next to a wooden fence in a natural outdoor setting with trees and grass.

The ride starts and finishes at the Launceston Rugby Union Club (Home Point Parade). The course mainly follows shared pathways and quiet residential streets, keeping most of the ride away from busy roads for a relaxed and family-friendly experience.
